      Very similar. Taoist breathing is basically abdominal breathing, allowing the exhale to be slightly longer than the inhale, the key word being allowing. Nothing is forced. Everything is natural and without effort. The breath is silent and through the nose. It slowly lengthens and deepens on its own as the body relaxes.
